Jo Chrona
Jo Chrona is a Ts’msyen educator, consultant and author of Wayi Wah! Indigenous Pedagogies, whose work supports Indigenous education and anti-racist practice in schools and organizations across Canada.
Good Creative worked with Jo to build a brand that grows directly out of her own story. Rather than starting with a generic visual system, we drew on original artwork Jo and her partner created, along with the themes and spirit of her book. The result is an identity that feels personal and rooted, carrying the same voice readers and workshop participants already know from her work.
We then designed and built Jo’s website to reflect three qualities at the heart of her teaching: strength, softness, and resilience. The layout gives her ideas room to breathe, the artwork leads the experience, and the structure makes it easy for educators and organizations to learn about her work, find her book, and reach out about speaking and consulting.
