Harrison Festival of the Arts
For more than four decades, the Harrison Festival of the Arts has brought world music, visual art, and performance to the shores of Harrison Lake every summer. It’s a cornerstone of arts and culture in the Fraser Valley, welcoming [number] visitors over [number] days.
In 2025, the festival brought Good Creative on board for the first time to design its core printed materials, the poster, program, and on-site signage that shape how people discover and experience the festival.
A festival with this much history carries a lot of goodwill, and a lot of expectations. The team wanted a fresh look that would catch new eyes around the region while still feeling true to the festival longtime supporters know and love. They also needed a partner who could take the work from first concept through print on a tight timeline, while a small team juggled everything else that goes into running a major event.
We started by listening to the festival team to understand their audience, their artists, and what makes Harrison feel like Harrison, which gave us a clear creative direction from day one. From there, we designed a folk-style poster to set the tone for the year and stand out across the community and social media, followed by an eight-page program that brought together the lineup, schedule, venue map, and sponsor recognition in an easy-to-scan layout. We carried the look onto the festival grounds through wayfinding, stage and sponsor signage, creating a consistent, welcoming experience for visitors. Along the way, we built a flexible design system the festival could grow with, laying the foundation for our work together the following year.
